Stranger Things Episode 5:The Flea and the Acrobat Reviews | Netflix

Jonathan and Nancy form their alliance, and even though he was just acting creepy and taking photos without consent a few episodes ago, you can’t help but root for the guy (sorry, Steve). More of the mythology of D&D comes into play as the boys try to understand the Upside Down and this strange new world they are dealing with. I’m convinced we have yet to see the last of the Upside Down’s parallels to the game, and it may be even more key than we yet realize.
Ordering the episodes of Stranger Things from greatest to least is a little like trying to decide if I like my left eye better than my right. I’m a huge fan of this show and I absolutely adore so many different scenes in both seasons. Rating these is not to say that I like one episode more than another, at least not in the traditional sense. The lowest episode on my list is still better than most other TV I’ve watched in my short life. That being said, the list can and likely will fluctuate once in a while.

Theory Explained:
Consider an acrobat and a flea on a tight rope. The acrobat can move forward and backward along the rope. But the flea can move forward and backward as well as side to side. If the flea keeps walking to one side, it goes around the rope and winds up where it started. So the acrobat has one dimension, and the flea has two dimensions, but one of these dimensions is a small closed loop.
So the acrobat cannot detect any more than the one dimension of the rope, just as we can only see the world in three dimensions, even though it might well have many more. This is impossible to visualize, precisely because we can only visualize things in three dimensions. Creatures which are much smaller can travel to the extra dimension back and forth, while we cannot. In order to have access to tiny dimensions, you do need a lot of energy. The more energy you have, the smaller the entity that you can observe.
